The Best Extras for your Erin Condren Planner

Half the fun of getting an Erin Condren planner (or any planner for that matter) is getting add-ons to make your planner awesome. Here's my list of extras to get for your planner, and some to skip. Most are only a few dollars and from the Erin Condren Website.

Pen Holder ($2.50) - Skip, while I liked the idea of the pen holder I realized the rubber bands I ordered came with a pen holder too. The pens I use  are too thin for the holder and the adhesive has started wearing down after 4 months of use.

Colored Pens ($8.95) - Grab! I love using colored pens in my planner. I haven't used the ones from Erin Condren, but colored pens in general are a must for my planner

Elastic Bands ($6.95) - Maybe, If you're the type of person to just throw stuff in you planner, then the elastics may be a good option for you. I typically like to keep my papers filed or on paper clips so I use them less and less. But I do use a band on the front half of my planner making it super easy to flip to the month spread. Like I said earlier, the little red tag shown in the picture can double as a pen holder which is really nice!

Notepads ($20) - YES! This is one add on I haven't bought yet because it's kinda pricy. But the past 4 months with my planner I've realized I use the same thing in post it version of the same thing and I love it. It's like the notes section but far less permanent. I find myself hesitant to use the note pages in my Erin Condren Planner because I like it to stay pretty. Honestly it depends on how much you wanna pay and how much you care about matching your planner on wether to get the EC ones or the Post it ones, but I like the idea of the notepad in general.

Event Stickers ($5) - Maybe, if you're the type of person who LOVES stickers in your planner and know frequent events for the coming year (for example you're sorority meeting schedule) then stickers may be great for you. I've heard a lot of people use them for bills and other reminders. Personally I don't use a lot of the customized stickers.
